Now in Print

I have two poems up in Eskimo Pie, ”I Am” and “Set in Our Ways.”

My poem is before the index, a teaser for the rest of this large, beautiful book, a collection of stories, some for adults, some for older children. It is a beautiful book. My last name is incorrect in the first printing, although it has the correct website and says "Ms. Huddleston" in the bio. I hope this will be corrected as it is also visible in the "Look Inside" on Create Space, but you can read my poem on page 3! I wonder if anyone else has as much trouble with their names as I do. My poem, Drilling Disaster won 1st Place in the 2010 Grandmother Earth National Contest, Environmental Poetry Division. It will appear in Grandmother Earth XVII. MS. Ms. Huddleston obtained a Master’s of Music Education from the University of Southern Mississippi, and has studied graduate level creative writing at the University of West Alabama. Ms. Huddleston was born in Lone Star, Texas, but has lived in Mississippi most of her life. She has been an elementary music teacher for 22 years, and has 2 grown sons, and 2 grandchildren.
